“Preparing to leave? You don’t mind pulling in an extra hour today do you?”
(Like you have any choice? Ha Ha)
“Not at all Boss . What is it that you want me to do?”
(Bastard! Always hunts me down when am about to leave.)
“Here are the specs. I want the report on my desk first thing tomorrow. So finish it up by EOD.”
(Or end of night…huh)
“Sure thing Boss”
(One day I’ll show him who’s the boss)
Four hours later.
“Honey, am home.”
(Please God, don’t make her start today.)
“Oh, you look like hell. Your boss again, han? Let me get your bag”
(When would he ever stop being a wimp and stand up to him?)
“Yeah. Sorry to have kept you waiting. I know I promised to take you out today.
Just give me ten minutes. I’ll get fresh and then we’ll go out.”
(Just look at me woman! Please call the night off. I don’t feel like going.)
“Oh we can go out on a weekend, its no big deal.
I’ve already prepared dinner for us. I made your favorite dish tonight.”
(Better eat up nice before I break the news)
“You are the best, honey!”
(At least, something is going nice today.)
After dinner.
“That was a lovely meal Darling. Am glad we didn’t go out.”
(The pains to go out would have been worth it, if I knew I’ll have to eat this.)
“I have something to tell you.”
(Okay, here we go.)
“Yes?”
(Don’t say you bought that washing machine you had your eyes on.
I can’t afford such spending anymore.)
“I am pregnant!”
(Say something damn it!)
“That’s… That’s great news honey. I am so very happy for us!
I love you so much!”
(Am I ready for such responsibility as a BABY? Why not just shoot me and be done with it.)
I love you too darling.
(Phew! That was close! Sucker didn’t suspect a thing.)

Margaret,
Quite close though… I knew it.
Welcome to the club now.
You should drop Aine a comment about it. She’ll be thrilled to have a new member in her audience.
She’s helping me find my ideal match too you know.
Priyanka,
Finally, you made it here.
And unfortunately its the state everywhere these days because of the condition that must not be named.
Yeah, I’m in the club now. I dropped Aine a comment. But I see it goes back a long time, I’ve so much catching up to do on the topic. Just wish I had more time!
Well, if anyone can help you find your perfect match – I’m sure Aine can.
Am counting on her too… big time!:P
