“Nick”
“Um”
“Nick”
“Hmm”
“Nick look at me.”
“Hmmmm”
“Hey Nick!”
“What??” He took his eyes off the television to look at her pestering sister.
“I wanna watch the TV now”
“Sure. There’s the couch. Make yourself comfortable”
“I mean I want to watch MTV. Give me the remote”
“No chance of that happening. It’s the Champions League finals today. You can have the TV to yourself after an hour”
“Are you giving me the remote or not?”
“Jenny. Please let me watch the finals and you can have watch the TV as long as you want for the whole week. Okay?”
“I am gonna switch the power off!”
“You touch that switch Jenny and I’ll make sure that your Barbie suffers an unfortunate accident tonight”
“Mommmmyyyyyyyy…..”
Two minutes later.
“Nick! Give that remote to Jenny.”
“But mom…”
“NOW, young man! You should not bully your sister and make her cry.”
“But mom it’s the finals! Can I go to Tim’s house and watch it?”
“You should have thought of that before you shouted at her. Now, go up to your room.”
A couple of hours later.
“I’ll get back to you for this, Jenny. Just you wait. I have a few tricks up my sleeves too, you know.”
She winked at him wearing that wicked smile, “Well you may have your tricks, but I’ve got the tears!”

Mahesh,
Am glad that you are a fan of Nick & Jenny.
And well, Nick destroyed the room of Jenny the last time. Did you miss that one??
Well, that was frustrating…my internet connection went out right as I was publishing the comment.
Here I go again…
I never stooped to such low, emotional, manipulative ploys with my brother . . . much.
Wonderful, funny tension between these two, Aniket! As usual.
The dialogue read so easily, with the last line again being the kicker.
So are you keeping score between them? Who’s ahead?
Tehehe.. So true. (:

Newbie Mommy,
Welcome here.
Am glad you liked the story!
Dang those tears….
yeah the usual drama, happenning in almost every house
did love jenny for her ways..
i just found a mistake..
He took his eyes off the television to look at her pestering sister.
i think it should be his sister, rather than her sister in the line above..
just a trivial one..
but i did love dis one..
Ah. Thanks for catching that. I never edit my stories. Bad bad habit.
And Nick and Jenny have their series going on over the blog. There are 4 of their stories.
Always welcome!!
I would love to read the series…
After all ….its from The Mentor!!
