Aisha had a beautiful smile.
The one which was contagious…
The reason I liked her
She had Aids.
The one which was contagious…
The reason I dumped her

This fits perfectly for a 55 word fiction. I’m personally not a fan of 55WF and micro-blogging.
Partly because I love back-stories and character development and partly because I was never good at writing them.
So not sure if you’ll find enough people who love 55WF here, but I love the fact that you are experimenting and branching out. Its always a good idea to try out all forms early and then pick what you’re good at and really love writing. I found my niche with Flash Fiction. You’ll find one for yourself soon too. I also realized that trying hand at poetry improves your prose and also improves ones vocab which in turn leads to contained writing.
Okay, now I’m sounding more and more like an old preacher, so I’ll stop. The only thing I’d tweak here is to loose the exclamation mark in the end. It somehow robs the sadness from the piece for me. Good luck with your future stories and thank you for your enthusiasm towards this site.
Thanks for the advice
